I completely understand. As for the RPG, once you're sure you're caught up on all the posts for the RPG just jump your character right in.

Two questions: What year is it? Can we introduce new technology and ships? Yes but right now just hold off until we get to the ZPM hunting for this AU world and behind unless you're wanting to come up with something that was collected on a past mission and your character is dealing with it. I should mention that plots 0.1 and 0.2 will deal with the theme ZPM hunting and Plot 0.3 will be a new AU world. As for the year for this AU world, I never really thought about it. I'm thinking the end of Season 3 of SGA but obviously with differences since it's AU world. I'll check with the all the players and see if that works. |

can I make a suggestion, make it at the end of the final show, after both SG1 and SGA finished, that way its far easier to reference to events that happened during the running of the shows and doesn't interfere at all in any way with canon. Makes everyone happier and it also makes more sense to bring in new technology of your own, that is things we make (at least what Earth makes) other than things found  |

Your suggestion, my suggestion and 1-2 more to be decided by the other members of the RPG. We will be playing in AU world from time to time when we get to the plot list too. They won't be part of the list but anytime we want to take a little break from the plot list we can play in an AU world, which could be one already created or a new one. I had thought about this some time ago before you joined but hadn't got around to mentioning it yet. For right now just say this AU world takes place at the end of Season 3 but just until I see what the other players say and I come up with reason for Laura Cadman to be around Atlantis after season 5. |
